A heartwarming incident took place in Quezon Province, the Philippines when a considerate duck retrieved a boy’s flip-flop and returned it to him.
Myla Aguila, a resident of the area, captured this precious moment on her camera. While walking near her home in the mountainous Sitio Madaguldol village, Aguila noticed a young boy facing a predicament.
One of his flip-flops had fallen down a small slope and was out of his reach.
Instead of the boy descending to retrieve it, a kind duck arrived first and picked up the flip-flop with its beak.
Aguila was astonished because ducks are generally not perceived as intelligent creatures.
The video of this incident challenges that notion.
Although the duck dropped the flip-flop three times, it persisted and successfully returned it to the boy at the top of the slope.
